Studio Etiquette

• Arrival: As a boutique studio we recommend arriving 5 minutes before the class is due to start, as currently waiting space limited.  

• Running late: Once the curtain is drawn the class has begun - we won't be able to allow entery. 

• Silence is Golden: Please switch your phone to "Do Not Disturb" or silent before entering the studio.

• Access: Lower Ground Floor (no lift assess).

What should I bring with me?

For most sessions, we recommend comfortable clothing and a water bottle.

We do have high-quality mats and props available for your use.

Do I need to book in advance?

Yes - due to our signal studio, spaces fill up quickly! We require pre-booking through our website to secure your spot.

Do you have changing rooms and showers?

Yes! We have two private shower cubicles and two toilets available for use. Please note that our facilities are individual cubicles within a mixed-sex area.

Are there lockers for my belongings?

We provide a designated area for bags and coats. As a small boutique studio, we recommend bringing only what you need, but your items will be kept within the studio space during the session.

What is your footwear policy?

To keep our studio floor a clean, sacred space for movement and relaxation, we are a shoe-free sanctuary. Upon arrival, we ask that you leave your shoes in the designated cubbies. You are more than welcome to move through the space in socks or barefoot - whatever makes you feel most comfortable!

I’m a total beginner. Can I still attend?

Of course - everyone is welcome at Volt50!

If there is a certain level suggested for a class it will be clearly mentioned when booking.

What is your cancellation policy?

We understand life happens. You can cancel your booking up to 24 hours before class for a full credit.

Cancellations made within 12 hours are non-refundable due to our limited capacity.

Can I book the studio for a private event?

We love hosting private groups! Whether it’s a birthday, a corporate reset, or a private sound bath, please email us at info@volt50.com for rates and availability.

Can I bring my children?

To maintain a peaceful and focused environment for all our guests, our sessions and events are designed for adults (ages 16 and over). Children are welcome to attend if suitable within a private hire session.

Do you accept cash payments?

We are a cashless studio. To ensure a seamless check-in experience and to focus on the class at hand, please book and pay for your sessions online through our booking portal before you arrive.

 

Is the studio accessible for everyone?

We want everyone to feel prepared for their visit. Please note that due to the nature of our historic building, our studio is located on the lower ground floor, therefore not currently wheelchair or disability accessible with no lift access.
